That’s the title of a book written by some woman who had, like, 1000 jobs in a year or something really crazy. I’ve been meaning to read it for ever so long. There is an extraordinary amount of stuff going on right now and I’m feeling, “blown sideways.” I will sit down before much longer to give a Reader’s Digest version. Although I suspect anyone who reads this is intimately related to me and already knows what’s going on………
That said, I have plans! Goals! Intentions! Well, that’s just asking for trouble, now, isn’t it? Anyway, more later.

I don’t think it’s asking for trouble to have a plan – even though it can get blown up at any time. It might be inviting disaster to just *not* have one. Know what I mean? Also I think getting blown sideways can put you on a different path. You certainly aren’t bored these days!

Fundamentally, this is a quite philosophical issue: making plans. Some make plans and work with a fury to see them to fruition. Others go with the flow and trust that all will be well. I, myself, am stuck on the very high fence between the two having a fist fight with myself over which is the best course. In the end, I feel like I make a plan and then, GOD SAYS HA!
I aspire to: Lesson 135 from A Course in Miracles. “What could you not accept, if you but knew that everything that happens, all events, past, present and to come, are gently planned by One Whose only purpose is your good? Perhaps you have misunderstood His plan, for He would never offer pain to you….Let no defenses but your present trust direct the future, and this life becomes a meaningful encounter with the truth that only your defenses would conceal.”
Now the reply string is longer than the original post! And, I can’t help but be reminded of your Lucy/Charlie Brown football post! hahahaha

Blown sideways,
yeah, who needs to read about it when life’s vagaries have a field day with you? I hope you have found shelter by now!
I don’t feel blown sideways, but more like glued to the desk. *hitheadhardondesk*
